Today, I would like to acknowledge the Yuggera people as the Traditional Owners of the beautiful land I am standing on today. From the mountains to the river, I open my heart and my eyes as I walk this land, listening, learning and caring for Country. I want to extend this respect to Elders; past, present and emerging and to all First Nations peoples reading this post today. We are all remembered here.
Just so you know, this post does contain sponsored content through the use of affiliate links, my proud partnerships and my own products and resources and I want to thank each of you for continuing to use my affiliate links to support the work I do. As you know, each blog post is based on my own experiences, opinions, and what I have been taught, and does not represent all First Nations peoples or Communities. Please remember that, connecting with your local First Nations Community is always the most respectful way for you to embed First Nations content specific to your area.
Are you looking for Alphabet graphics to develop your students' fine motor skills and handwriting?
Then this post is for you my friend! Today in this short but sweet blog post, I have collated 6 Canva handwriting and fine motor elements that you can use to begin creating in your very own Canva teacher templates.
So, here they are!
Tracing alphabet guide
I love these handwriting Canva elements because they are already made so they are super easy to just drag and drop from the Canva elements tab into your teacher template. Just search the elements tab the keywords 'Tracing Elements Guide' and these will come up. I just love how these elements are numbered to show the order of how to write each of the letters and how they have arrows to show the direction of the writing.
Line dot uppercase
Again, these are perfect for handwriting! I partcuarily love numbers and arrows. Plus you can also search for lowercase too if you need to by just replacing the word 'uppercase' when you search to lowercase.
Dot markers alphabet
I mean now come on, how great are these! I love that they are all pre made for us to drag and drop into our templates, it just makes creating resources for our little learners so easy and supports their fine motor development while introducing them to the alphabet and sound of the week.
Dot to dot alphabet
When I first saw these, I just thought they were so great! I love how again these support our little learners fine motor development, number and letter recognition too. So great and again already done for you in Canva, just use the keywords and drag and drop!
Letter maze
Another one I loved were these letter maze alphabet letters. Again so simple to create a resource in Canva for your little learners. Just type 'letter maze' into the elements search bar and these will come up. From here just drag and drop the elements you want onto your page and create your template.
Letter puzzle
This one I really love because I could imagine it possibly being a part of literacy groups or rotations each week as you move through the different sounds you are learning. Agin to find these Canva elements, just type 'letter puzzle' into the elements search bar tab in Canva and these elements will come up.
Well that is all 6 of my keywords for today. If these have been helpful for you then I would love for you to share in the comments about how you have used them and maybe share a picture with us too.
I hope this post has been helpful for you and if there is anything you would like to learn about Canva, then please either let me know in the comments or please reach out to me by replying to my emails.
