If you are now or in the future, looking for a way to incorporate poetry into your program, or writing exercises to do with young people at home? The Red Room Poetry Poem Forest Teaching Resource is perfect! It is a fully curriculum-aligned Learning Resource filled to the brim with poems, activities and case studies as well as information about the trees growing in the POEM FOREST at Australian Botanic Garden. Adaptable to every age group from Foundation to Year 12, this free resource is designed to support students and teachers to find inspiration before composing nature poems. And, even though the competition closes on the 23rd of September 2022, (with insanely talented sis @kirli.saunders as a judge too, might I add) the resource itself is timeless, while allowing you to embed First Nations perspectives and Sustainability seamlessly into your program.
