Today, I would like to acknowledge the Yuggera people as the Traditional Owners of the beautiful land I am standing on today. From the mountains to the river, I open my heart and my eyes as I walk this land, listening, learning and caring for Country. I want to extend this respect to Elders; past, present and emerging and to all First Nations peoples reading this post today. We are all remembered here.
Just so you know, this post does contain sponsored content through the use of affiliate links, my proud partnerships and my own products and resources and I want to thank each of you for continuing to use my affiliate links to support the work I do. As you know, each blog post is based on my own experiences, opinions, and what I have been taught, and does not represent all First Nations peoples or Communities. Please remember that, connecting with your local First Nations Community is always the most respectful way for you to embed First Nations content specific to your area.
As many of you know, I am all about timesaving techniques at home, school and in my business. When I'm designing and Canva, I make a special effort to learn special timesaving techniques so that my jobs can be done quickly and effectively.
One of the ways that I do this, is I have a handful of really fast but also helpful, keyboard shortcuts that I use in Canva to save myself all of my valuable time I need, because without these quite frankly I would be spending a lot of time right clicking and clicking and navigating to different areas of the page, which surprisingly adds up to a lot of valuable time wasted.
Today in this blog post, I want to share with you three of my most simple timesaving Canva keyboard shortcuts that I use every single time I open one of my Canva templates. I love these and I know you are going to love them too, so let's get stuck into them!
1. Copy Canva keyboard shortcut
Without a doubt, the copy keyboard shortcut in Canva - alongside the paste one of course, which I will show you next, are by far the most used Canva keyboard shortcuts that I use. If you are someone who is using a Mac, then the shortcut is as simple as command + C or if you are a Windows then it is as simple as CRTL + C.
2. Paste Canva keyboard shortcut
Alongside the copy Canva keyboard shortcut, is of course the paste shortcut. This particular shortcut is usually something that you use straight after you've copied an image, graphic or text. To paste something into Canva, all you have to do if you're on a Mac, is hold down your command button and then press the letter v. For Windows or PC users, you will hold down your CRTL button and then again press v.
3. Select all Canva keyboard shortcut
When you are selecting all, that can be done in one of two ways. Obviously you can use the mouse to hover over and then click and select all of the elements and images that you have on the page, but of course today we're talking about keyboard shortcuts and you can have this done in two simple clicks. So, to select all in your Canva template all you have to do is, if you are using a Mac - simply hold down your command button and click a, and if you are someone who is using a Windows or PC - then just hold down your CRTL button and again click a. It is really that simple!
And just like that you have got back a big chunk of your very valuable time!
